50 Million going for Research into Digital Media and Learning

I do not know much about the MacArthor Foundation, and haven’t given the site a good going over, but the intent seems to indicate an encouraging trend to starting to respect our students adopted realm.

The MacArthur Foundation launched its five-year, $50 million digital media and learning initiative in 2006 to help determine how digital technologies are changing the way young people learn, play, socialize, and participate in civic life.
