I really wasn’t aware of this going on until Andy Carvin tagged me last night at 6:27. It seems that folks are blogging five things that their readers don’t know about them, and then tagging other people to fess up. How can I top getting shot at by Turkish military police, or knowing Taekwondo, or being a concertmaster in an all-state high school orchestra?
Well here goes, and this is probably going to be corny! OK, I changed a couple of them, feeling that I got a bit to personal. So one and 3 are different!
- On of my ancestors, on my mother’s side was a lady in waiting for Queen Elizabeth I. She is buried in Westminster Abby. My Aunt Janet has seen her tomb.
-
The Guy with the Test Tube When I was young, I wanted to be Johnny Quest’s father when I grew up. If you never saw Johnny Quest you won’t understand. (check JQ on YouTube)
- The first professional development that I ever performed was a lesson on how to roll up an extension cord for a 16 mm projector.
- I was once in a community play. I played the ghost of Jacob Marley in Scrooge. It was great fun. I also ran the lights in Godspell.
- When I was in high school, I made date money playing in various rock and beach music bands. I also played guitar in coffee houses when I was in college, but I didn’t make much money. I don’t sing very well. That’s true!

Thanks for sharing yours and being so personal! I am curious to see who your Vicki replacement will be!
Yours,
Chris Craft
…. And I have already tagged Terry!
But shhhhh…. don’t think he has noticed yet! Perhaps he will be flattered?
My husband was similarly born with 6 fingers and attributes his interest in finger-flinging close-up magic to this fluke of nature.
Thanks for sharing, Dave! Isn’t this fun?
Cheers,
Sharon
Just got the full first season of Jonny Quest (no H in his first name!) for my husband for Christmas. Now I will not be able to watch Dr. Benton Quest without comparing you to him! Guess it gives me a good reason to watch the episodes, eh?

When I was a kid, I wanted to be Hadji.
Jonny Quest on DVD? That’s awesome!

Thanks for the tag —
as in real life, I ended up being tagged twice —
But it was fun to share 5 more things and much nicer to be mentioned on your blog.
Happy New Year,
See you at NECC.
Jen
You are a fascinating person! I always wanted to be Wonder Woman.
I always wanted to be wonder woman!
Ah… that\\\’s a shame. They were the most interesting ones. If we don\\\’t share our weaknesses we are not being true to ourselves… 🙂
Happy New Year, David and thanks for the tag. I’ll post tomorrow, promise! I feel serious pressure to be unboring and right now my brain is still a little party-fuzzy.
When I was in the High School I used to learn various rock and beach music bands. Thanks
Ha, good one! I remember Johnny Quest too!
