Three-hour layover at Newark Airport and lots of work to do — and not a single electrical outlet is working. I’m starting to get PO’ed. Why would an airport switch off all of their customer-accessible electrical outlets? I just don’t understand.
Then, about to give up, a good quarter-mile from my upcoming departure gate, I find a little dive with a live outlet in the corner. I have to buy a bagel and a delicious Jakes Coffee, but it’s good.
