  1. Hey David
The Blogger’s Cafe was a real highlight of the Ulearn conference this year. It gave the conference an added feature as you got to know the ‘faces behind the blogs’. We adopted Ewan McIntosh into our NZ blogger community. If you ever make your way back to our part of the world, we would love you to join us too.

  2. The conference was just great. Since you had shown me how to use RSS at Rotorua Learning at School we have used it to form a community of bloggers in NZ with links to the global edubloggers community.

People not there F2F were there in spirit or via Hitchikr, Flickr, RSS, Bloglines, Twitter or Skype.

At one moment there I was sitting next to Ewan Macintosh, listening to Tony Ryan and Twittering with Miguel Guhlin. How connected is that!

Because we knew each other via our blogs we already sort of knew and supported each other, making it so much easier to relax with one-another and have a great time.

  3. Trust me, I’ve been having NZ withdrawal symptoms since I got back. You folks are awesome, what you’re doing in schools in fantastic, and I wish more American schools would emulate you. I have no doubt that what you folks are doing is THE way to go in public education.

And, I’m grateful that you folks are kind enough to include me in the Twittering! It’s so awesome to read and see FlickrFotos of what you are up to!

    Nostalgic,
    Miguel
