EduBloggerCon Video

I finished a large and long term project yesterday, and, so, decided to do something fun today.  So I went to flickr, and downloaded all of the photos that were tagged with EduBloggerCon, on the Creative Commons License, and weren’t extraordinarily unflattering to anyone.

The rest is too geeky to share here, but I utilized Garageband (my first video podcast with GB), QuickTime Pro, and iMovie.  Must experimenting and many false starts.

Anyway, here is the result.  Have fun!

PS, This is the fun project I’ve been Twittering about!

  1. Nice work, David. It was great to meet you at the conference. I’ve also enjoyed the conversations you’ve started about Twitter. Thank you for all of your great work.

  2. OK, it is totally false – and you should know better – to say that NECC 2007 was the first time edubloggers from around the world got together.

I can name the Northern Voice conferences in Vancouver, blogs.ac.uk, the FLNW tour of unconferences in New Zealand – and those are just the ones I was involved in.

  3. Come on Stephen — weren’t you taught if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all…….??

so tired of your rants — we had a good time, wish you could have been there — but don’t be so nit-picky. And just enjoy the fun!!

David, thank you for doing this!!
Thanks for taking the time to make this.

  4. I’m just thrilled and honored that Stephen watched my video!

He does make a point that this was not the first educators BloggerCon. I’ve organized at least a dozen of them, though nothing to compare with what Downes has witnessed.

It was, however, the first “NECC EduBloggerCon” and the first of many more to come, I hope.

  5. Really nice video – wish I had been able to get there before Sunday. As I get to know more and more edubloggers, I am wondering how many of us are there in other countries. Any idea?
